how do i start the order process?

• please use one of the two forms above to submit your order request.

DO YOU HAVE A CATALOGUE TO VIEW?

• yes, the “ARCHIVE” tab at the very top of the page will show many examples of the work i have done. further examples can be found on my instagram page @lume_shot, which can be viewed by clicking the instagram icon on the top right of the page.

Do I have to send in my own watch / parts?

• clients are welcome to send in their own watch and parts for a commission, however it is not necessary as I can source everything for you. If parts will be provided by the client, then i will only charge for labor.

what’s the difference between “customize your existing timepiece” vs. “commission a new custom timepiece”?

• “customize your existing timepiece” means that you are looking to have upgrades done onto a watch that you already own. “commission a new custom timepiece” means that you are looking to purchase an entirely new watch, whether its a model i’ve designed or an idea that you would like have made.

do you sell parts?

• no, i do not sell parts alone, which includes dials as they are reserved for clients who will be placing an order.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE AVAILABLE PART OPTIONS?

• there are many part dealers online however most of what is available can be found on the “watches” tab on the top of the page. for further viewing, my instagram page has many images of watches i have built for clients, which is where you can see the type of parts available and how they will look once installed. if there is a particular component that you do not see but would like to have used, please do let me know in the order request.

i have all the parts for a full custom build. can i send them to you for an order?

• absolutely, clients are welcome to source parts on their end and have them sent in to be worked on. quotes for labor-only will then apply.

is the base watch included?

• most of my watches do not utilize a “base” watch as they are often built from scratch. for instance, the bloodmoon, two tone stealth, and comet are full customs that are not made from any pre-existing watch. however, there are models that will use an existing watch as the starting point, which i can source for clients.

i have an idea, can you make it?

• clients are welcome to share any particular requests that they have in mind and I will try my best to accommodate them.

do you price match because I was offered a lower price elsewhere?

• no, i do not price match or discount my quotes purely for the sake of competing with other service providers’ rates. my goal is to offer the best for my clients, not discounted products.

do you have any watches pre-made / ready for immediate shipping?

• rarely, most of the watches are made to order since they are individually configured based on client requests. of course, there are models that i’ve already designed and clients are welcome to commission the exact same configuration.

can i drop off / pick up my watch and parts?

• unfortunately i require all orders to be shipped to and from my location.

can i call to discuss an order?

• due to the nature of bespoke projects, i prefer to handle any type of communication through email since it allows me to backtrack discussed details.

WHY DOES IT COST MORE THAN A REGULAR SEIKO?

• these are not watches made or sold by seiko, nor is seiko affiliated with lume shot in any way. these are not marketed as seiko products and should be recognized as so. my watches are not mass produced products - they are individually hand built on my bench from start to finish. as with any type of bespoke service, time, labor, tools, knowledge, and cost of parts are all factors that contribute to a total price.

do you offer custom dials or engraving?

• YES, PLEASE MENTION ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS IN THE ORDER DETAILS.

do prices include a strap?

• unless explicitly mentioned, straps are not included in a quote but they can absolutely be added on.

do you provide tracking?

• absolutely, all packages will have tracking information for clients to carefully monitor the status of their shipment.

can you make a video for my custom build?

• videos are typically reserved for my own personal designs. due to the time invested into each production, it is not feasible to make a video for every single client build unfortunately.

do you ship internationally?

• absolutely, i’ve built watches for many of my clients located worldwide.

what type of warranty is offered?

• please refer to the guarantees section above.

do you accept any other form of payment method?

• unfortunately paypal is the only method accepted unless discussed otherwise.
